Elena M. Colianni received her law degree from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, DC.  After graduation, she served as a judicial law clerk for the trial judges of Arlington County, Virginia. 
After her clerkship, she prosecuted cases for the City of Alexandria, VA as an assistant district attorney.  After returning to her hometown of Pittsburgh, PA, Ms. Colianni worked as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for Mid Atlantic Capital Group, a securities broker-dealer and registered investment adviser, handling their corporate legal and regulatory matters.  

Ms. Colianni was elected to a four-year term of office and now serves a Council Member for the Borough of Oakmont, chairing their Pension and Personnel Committee.  Ms. Colianni serves as an Industry Arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) formerly NASD, and held until recently NASD Series 7, 24 and 66 securities licenses. 

At Colianni & Colianni, Elena assists in handling the initial stages of personal injury litigation and serves as the firm's Case Manager. Ms. Colianni is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and Virginia (not the Virgin Islands).
